Severe Tropical Cyclone “Narelle” 931 hPa near 18.4S 112.1E moving southwest 6

knots. Monsoon trough extends from 9S 90E to Severe Tropical Cyclone “Narelle”

to 10S 139E to 10S 142E.

PART 3. FORECAST

Indian Ocean between 105E and 120E, Java, Bali, Flores, Savu and western Banda

Seas.

Southwest/northwest winds 25/33 knots. Rough seas. Moderate swells. Scattered

storms with squalls to 45 knots.

Elsewhere north of trough.

Northwest/southwest winds 15/25 knots. Moderate/rough seas. Moderate swell in

the Indian Ocean south of 5S and west of 125E. Isolated storms.

Elsewhere south of trough.

South/southeast winds 10/20 knots, tending northwest/northeast in the Gulf of

Carpentaria. Slight/moderate seas. Isolated storms.
