Concept
Global Information System Centres (GISCs) store and provide data circulated in GTS as 24-hour data cache and users of WIS can acquire the data. Through this theme of PP, an intuitive acquisition application for 24-hour data cache is developed. Improvement of accessibility to meteorological data for NCs will enhance utilization of meteorological data available under auspices of WMO.
Lead centre (currently JMA) offers a stand-alone application for Windows OS in order to acquire data of 24-hour data cache of GISC Users of the application can acquire data selected by user with GUI operation.
